Saying that you are not going to find a better book other than the one we are talking about in terms of the history and the fiction as well as the literature will not be wrong. The story of the book is going to be more and more interesting as the story proceeds and it is telling us about the year 1937. The book is telling us a story of the Dowdel family and the bad time they are having in their lives. There is a 15 years old girl in the story of the book serving as the main character of the book as well. She is known as Mary Alice and she is sent to her grandma Dowdel who lives in the downstate.
She is having a brother and he is now joining the army and he is known as Joey Dowdel. The girl we are talking about is not having a very good time with the grandma but she is not having any of the other choices as well. A lot of the events are going on in the story of the book and a lot of the things are there in the book waiting for you to read and enjoy them.
