Due to this curse, they were separated from the other world and other people, not only they were separated but they were sealed as well. And this sealing was not for a specific period of time but it was an eternal seal. The book is divided into the three main chapters and each chapter is telling the story of a specific character as well. Which makes it very easy to read and to understand as well.
