The story of Frindle revolves around Nick Allen, a curious and lively child. He has earned himself some bad reputation for being mischievous, however, he is nothing more than a curious child with many great ideas.
Well, the major turn of events happens in the story when Nick learns some new words, some information behind them, and then the real story of Frindle happens. At this point, Nick creates the Frindle Plan in which he starts changing names of different things. For example, he raises the question that why call a pen a pen and why not Frindle?
